June 2019
Hello blog.
It is now June 2019. Here's a quick update to some things I am thinking about:
- I am still regretting my decision a few years ago to delete my posts from 2011 backwards since it would have been enjoyable to read them in a few decades, but I am attempting to write again in order to have something to look back on.
- My YouTube channel 'KalimbaCam' has now surpassed 3,300 subscribers and I am even making some money off of it!
- I have developed an interest in taking photos and editing them. Here are some recent works of mine:
- My short-sightedness has not gone away yet :( (but thankfully it has not gotten too much worse)
- I have not worked on my Kickstarter-funded video game 'A Matter of Time' which is a major problem since it is due for completion at the end of this year. Maybe I will post some updates here as to how it is going. On a slightly positive note, I have managed to print off posters for the game!
- Yesterday, Pebbles ate a capsule of ant poison but thankfully appears to be in good health and virtually unfazed by the ordeal.
- Last month I went to the Gold Coast for a week to compete against other state in Australia as a part of the South Australian Christian Schools Association (SACSA) team. I represented SA as a part of the soccer/football team. Unfortunately, I did not score any goals but probably deserved to at least once or twice (I had an open goal opportunity stolen from me by the other team's player after they scored an owl goal). Here are a few photos:
